1. State laws, residency program requirements, and ECFMG & ERAs rules change/adapt every year. Someone else's news might be last year's news....

2. ECFMG and ERAs calendars are somewhat complicated. The process is protracted.  Familiarize yourself with the process.  Read the rules now (sites listed below) and make your personal calendar/notes. Some programs will not consider your application if you are unable to be ECFMG certified by the start of the program.
